Happy Robbie Burns Day!
Ach! Thanks to Jacqueline over at Corrie Canuck for the reminder.
Who is Robbie Burns? A Scottish poet (actually, I think he's considered a bard), that's who! He was born on January 25, 1759 and penned the infamous Auld Lang Syne, as well as Address to a Haggis, an ode to the traditional Scottish dish.
Ah, haggis... I have to admit that I love it. I'd rather eat it with a good scotch than hurl it. And its ok to celebrate, even if you're not of Scottish descent. Everyone is a wee bit Scottish on Robbie Burns day!
(there's even vegan haggis! ;) )

i think its yummy! the seasonings are so good, it makes you (kinda) forget what's in it. ;)
seriously? haggis...
although, i suppose i can't really speak since i've never eaten it. the whole thought of it makes me so squeemish i can't get it past my lips....
its like sausage really, except the oatmeal gives it a different texture. but if you don't like the idea of sausage, that doesn't help. ;)
